Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the traditional Chinese practice of using very fine needles to painlessly treat pain or disease. It is a safe and effective treatment based on more than two thousand years of practice and research. Acupuncture is based on the theory that there is bioelectric energy (chi) flowing through the body. A blockage or imbalance in this energy can result in illness, discomfort or disease. Acupuncture unblocks and rebalances this flow of energy to relieve pain and restore health.

Western scientific research has shown that acupuncture works by releasing the body’s natural healing chemicals (endorphins, cortisol, and opioid peptides) that are known to help with pain and promote healing.

Acupuncture can be used in the treatment of:

• Headaches

• Shoulder Pain

• Low Back Pain

• Knee Pain

• Facial Pain

• Fibromyalgia

• Tennis Elbow

• Osteoarthritis

• Nausea due to pregnancy or chemotherapy treatment

• Many other conditions; just ask!
